FEDERAL MINISTER MEETS IMO SECRETARY-GENERAL TO ADVANCE PAKISTAN'S MARITIME REFORM AGENDA

Federal Minister for Maritime Affairs Muhammad Junaid Anwar Chaudhry met with IMO Secretary-General Arsenio Dominguez on the sidelines of the 5^th Turkey Maritime Summit in Istanbul. During the meeting, both sides discussed Pakistan's ongoing maritime sector reforms, investment initiatives, and key areas of cooperation, including ship recycling, biofouling management, and mangrove plantation. The discussions reaffirmed Pakistan's commitment to sustainable maritime development, environmental protection, and strengthened collaboration with the International Maritime Organization (IMO).
