KARACHI PORT TRUST SETS HISTORIC CARGO HANDLING RECORD IN FY 2025–26.

Karachi Port Trust (KPT) achieved its highest-ever cargo handling volume in FY 2025–26, setting a new record in its 138-year history. The milestone marks the growth of Pakistan's maritime sector, enhanced port efficiency, and its significant contribution to the national economy.

Federal Minister for Maritime Affairs Muhammad Junaid Anwar Chaudhry and Chairman KPT Rear Admiral Shahid Ahmed congratulated the KPT team, praising their dedication and reaffirming KPT's commitment to operational excellence, trade facilitation, and sustainable maritime development.
