Under the vision of the Prime Minister and the leadership of Junaid Anwar Chaudhry, Gwadar Port Authority has revised its tariff structure to attract greater transit and transshipment container traffic by significantly lowering operational costs, including a 25% reduction in berthing fees for container vessels carrying transit or transshipment cargo, a 40% reduction in international transshipment container charges, a 31% reduction in transit container charges, and offering one month free storage for general cargo—positioning Gwadar as a competitive deep-sea trade hub in the region.
