INTERNATIONAL MARITIME SUSTAINABILITY EXHIBITION & CONFERENCE, PAKISTAN
Ministry of Maritime Affairs successfully held the International Maritime Sustainability Exhibition & Conference in September, 2024. Mr. Arsenio Dominguez, Secretary General, International Maritime Organization (IMO) made a maiden visit to Pakistan and graced the conference.
Aims and Objectives
The International Maritime Sustainability Exhibition & Conference 2024 – Pakistan was designed to bring together key stakeholders from the maritime industry, government, academia, and international organizations to discuss the latest trends, challenges, and opportunities in maritime sustainability. The conference aimed to foster collaboration, share knowledge, and promote sustainable practices within the maritime sector in Pakistan and globally.
Themes and Agenda
The conference focused on “Sustainable Maritime Development: Navigating the Future" with sessions on green shipping technology, sustainable port development, the blue economy, maritime governance, and the role of maritime operations in national security. The agenda included keynote speeches, technical sessions, panel discussions, presentations and an exhibition showcased innovative maritime solutions.

During the exhibition, various stakeholders set up stalls showcasing different features of the maritime sector.
